1. Service Description

GovClaw is an AI-powered funding management platform that helps organizations discover, analyze, write, and track grant and contract opportunities. The platform includes document management, proposal drafting assistance, funding opportunity search, and workflow tracking capabilities.

2. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data, documents, and content you upload to or create within GovClaw. This includes organizational profiles, uploaded documents, proposal drafts, and any other content you provide.

GovClaw does not claim any ownership rights over your content. We do not use your data to train AI models or share it with other customers.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to submit fraudulent funding applications or bid responses
  • Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the platform
  • Share account credentials with unauthorized parties
  • Exceed rate limits or attempt to scrape data from the platform
  • Use AI-generated content without human review and verification

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

GovClaw uses AI to assist with proposal drafting, document summarization, and opportunity analysis. AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and must be reviewed, verified, and approved by qualified personnel before submission. GovClaw is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any specific funding application or bid response.

5. Service Availability

GovClaw aims for 99.9% uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. The platform depends on third-party services (Supabase, OpenAI, Anthropic, Grants.gov) whose availability is outside our direct control.

6. Security and Compliance

  • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256)
  • Role-based access control with organization-level data isolation
  • Audit logging of all sensitive operations
  • Regular security assessments and vulnerability scanning
  • Incident response procedures with 24-hour notification for data breaches

7. Termination and Data Return

Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, you may export all your data in standard formats. GovClaw will permanently delete your data within 30 days of termination unless a longer retention period is required by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

GovClaw provides tools to assist with proposal writing and pursuit management. We do not guarantee that any funding application or bid response prepared using our platform will receive an award. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim.
